Analog Devices, Inc. in Beaverton, OR is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for the night shift in our cleanroom wafer fabrication facility.

You'll assist in tool maintenance, root cause troubleshooting, and implement cost-reduction projects while working with engineering tool owners. The role requires a high school diploma, ability to wear cleanroom PPE, familiarity with hand tools, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to wear PPE and cleanroom garments.
• Experience in the use of hand tools.
• Ability to read, comprehend and adhere to written procedures.
• Basic personal computer and keyboarding skills for accurate input of data.
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate written and orally.
• Demonstrated work performance with attention to detail and follow-up.
• Ability to walk and stand continuously throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to ascend/descend stairs frequently.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to hear and respond to equipment alarms.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Tool maintenance and repair both planned and unplanned.
• Assist in Root cause troubleshooting and fault finding to component level.
• Assist in ongoing tool development and enhancement.
• Propose projects for reducing cost, improving tool availability, and increasing tool and/or systems efficiency.
• Work with engineering tool owners in hands-on practical investigation and resolution on hardware.
• Ability to work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, written and verbal instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting issues and solutions.
• Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multi-task.
• Be capable of working with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
