Job summary

Briarwood Village is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (MA-C) for a full-time night shift at our Lima, Ohio location. The MA-C administers medications under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and supports residents with compassionate care.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and current certification from a State Board of Nursing approved training center. Responsibilities cover medication administration, documentation, care plan adherence, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to administer medications under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Must function within scope of practice according to the State Board of Nursing.
• Administers medication as prescribed by physician.
• Must follow facility policy and procedures.
• Accurately complete documentation of medication given.
• Refer to and follow resident care plan.
• Report any abnormal findings or changes in condition.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
