Job summary

The Village of St. Edward is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for 7pm–11pm shifts in Wadsworth, OH. The role supports memory care and assisted living residents under nurse supervision.

Requirements include Ohio Medication Aide certification, 18+ years old, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time schedule features a shift differential and community-focused environment with low resident-to-staff ratios.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years full experience as a Resident Assistant within Assisted Living / Memory Care.
• Preferred State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Ohio.
• Current Medication Aide Certification approved by Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds independently or with assistance.
• Must communicate with empathy to residents, families, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and activities delegated by the nurse.
• Monitor resident conditions and report any changes.
• Administer certain medications as directed by LPN/RN.
• Document medication administration and report to supervising staff.
• Assist in emergency situations and maintain infection control practices.
