• Current certification from a State Board of Nursing approved training center is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate within scope of practice per State Board of Nursing.
• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
• Follow facility policies and procedures.
• Meet job-related competencies per Skills Competency Manual.
• Accurately document medications administered.
• Refer to and follow the resident care plan.
• Report abnormal health findings or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Attend required in-service education.
• Follow infection control and safety practices.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain personal professional competence.
• All other duties as assigned.
