Optimized Senior Living is a family-owned senior living community seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Dayton, OH. The role involves direct personal care, medication administration, and assisting with activities of daily living for residents in a full-time or PRN capacity.

The position includes 12-hour shifts (days or nights) with flexible scheduling, and a commitment to resident wellbeing in a home-like setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide Certificate (CMA).
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Team player with a caring heart.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility.
• Respond promptly to call alerts.
• Support meal prep, service, and assistance during meals.
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living spaces.
• Provide positioning, transfers, and transport as needed.
• Document care provided accurately.
• Promote dignity, privacy, and resident independence.
• Follow HIPAA, safety procedures, and all policies.
• Contribute to a culture of positivity and teamwork.
• Assisting with self-medication administration using ALIS.
• Administering medications as prescribed by Providers.
• Meets all state Health Requirements.
• Document all medication administered.
• Collect and record patient vital signs appropriately.
