Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) to provide hands-on patient care in accordance with the California Nursing Practice Act and SHC policies. The role includes teaching patients and families, coordinating care, and participating in professional development to maintain licensure and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications.

Requirements include a BSN preferred, 2 years RN acute care experience with neuro exposure preferred, and a CA-RN license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
• 1 year Medical‑Surgical Nursing strongly preferred.
• Neuro experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Establishes therapeutic relationships and provides compassionate patient/family care.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care per standards and scope.
• Collaborates with care team to develop individualized plans of care.
• Provides teaching to patients and families on self-care and illness prevention.
