Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establishes therapeutic relationships and provides emotional support to patient and family.
• Obtains and interprets assessment data; determines nursing diagnoses and monitors patient status.
• Plans and implements individualized care; collaborates with care team and evaluates outcomes.
• Teaches patient and family self-care; mentors other staff and preceptors where applicable.
• Assesses rapidly changing situations and activates emergency protocols.
• Monitors adherence to safety standards and contributes to quality improvement.
