Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager (CANM) to lead nightly shift operations in a high-acuity setting. You will guide patient care, patient flow, and staff performance to ensure exceptional outcomes and service delivery.

Applicants should have a BSN (preferred), Florida RN licensure, and BLS. ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on patient population, with a focus on collaboration and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; RN licensed in Florida.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; acute care preferred.
• Current Florida RN licensure or NLC.
• Current BLS certification.
• Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC may be required depending on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure high-quality care and optimal patient flow.
• Manage staffing assignments based on acuity and team skills.
• Coordinate patient flow with Administrative Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Discharge Planners.
• Monitor patient status, including seriously ill patients.
• Ensure delivery of care per physician orders and policies.
• Lead safety huddles and support staff development.
