Job summary

Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Progressive Care Unit to influence patient care through collaboration with the management team and engagement in nursing initiatives. You will coordinate nursing care, support admissions and discharges, and mentor staff to improve performance and engagement.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in Texas (or Compact) with 2+ years in healthcare; BSN and 3+ years preferred; BLS required.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in Texas; active Compact License may require Texas RN within 60 days
• Minimum of 2 years healthcare experience; BSN with 3+ years preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff.
• Assist with staff scheduling.
