Job summary

Synectics Inc. in California is seeking a clinical laboratory professional responsible for performing complex laboratory tests and ensuring accurate reporting.

You will prepare reagents, oversee quality control, and maintain instrument calibration while adhering to safety and policy standards. The role requires a BS in medical technology or life sciences and up to three years of lab experience, with a Thurs–Mon 6 pm to 2:30 am shift.

Qualifications

• BS in medical technology or life/physical sciences from an accredited college or university is REQUIRED
• Zero to three year's direct experience in a laboratory setting; offer rate based on years of experience
• Shift/Time Zone : Thurs-Mon 6 pm to 2:30 am
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong typing skills desirable
• Other automation skills helpful
• Objects lifting requirements by weight ranges are noted in the job posting

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical laboratory testing following established procedures and policies
• Independently performs moderate to highly complex tests
• Prepares reagents, media, stock solutions, and controls
• Evaluates test results and ensures accurate reporting
• Maintains equipment calibration, maintenance, and quality control
