HNL Lab Medicine is seeking a qualified professional to perform high‑complexity laboratory testing on a full‑time night shift at Lehigh Valley Hospital‑17th St. You will work with physicians and healthcare teams, operating under established protocols with independent judgment.

The role requires a solid foundation in MLT education, effective communication, and the ability to manage instrument issues, quality control, and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing.
• Associate’s degree in MLT from an accredited program required.
• Certification by a recognized certifying agency for clinical laboratory professionals preferred (ASCP, ASMT, NCA, etc).

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs high, moderate, or waived laboratory testing per SOPs.
• Recognizes and corrects instrument malfunctions and records troubleshooting.
• Confirms, verifies and reports test results independently.
• Monitors results for reasonableness and critical values; cites data properly.
• Provides clinical orientation and training of new employees or students.
