Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Clinical Lab Scientist to support our client's healthcare team in Detroit, MI. Night shift from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Sun–Sat). This contract role requires performing all lab testing and ensuring timely results with strict quality controls.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in a related field, 5–7 years of lab experience, and ASCP/AMT certification or state license as applicable. Familiarity with LIS and willingness to overtime completes the profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, CL science or medical technology.
• Minimum 5-7 years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred or required.
• State license may be required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Run all lab specimens for testing during night shifts.
• Perform routine and complex lab procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents or controls.
• Report accurate test results for patient care.
• Maintain quality control and supplies on the bench.
