Job summary

Advocate Health's Transfusion department seeks a full-time leader to ensure regulatory compliance and drive accreditation readiness. You will collaborate with operational leaders, technicians, and partners to implement technical methods, improve workflow, and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology, business, manufacturing, or related field is required.
• Master's degree in Health Administration, Business, Science or related field is desirable.
• Minimum of five years leadership experience; group leader experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Ensures regulatory compliance at all times and drives accreditation readiness.
• Develops and evaluates corrective action plans from surveys and tracer activities.
• Collaborates with leaders and staff to implement technical methods in clinical labs.
• Analyzes workflow and space to improve quality and efficiency.
• Designs standard work; champions continuous quality improvement using PDSA cycles.
• Conducts experiments to evaluate new methods to improve lab services.
