Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking an Associate Laboratory Assistant for the Clinical Laboratory Unit. This full-time role involves 10-hour night shifts and will report to the Phlebotomy Supervisor and Director of Laboratory Services.

You will perform routine lab tasks, maintain a clean work environment, and support the laboratory team. California licensure is required or pending at hire, with preference for prior lab or hospital experience.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire, or II License upon hire.
• Laboratory, medical office or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine non-technical, manual and a moderate amount of technical work in the medical laboratory.
• Maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Carries out related tasks as required.
