Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking an Associate Laboratory Assistant to support the clinical lab on a per diem basis with 10-hour shifts.
Under supervision, the Assistant performs routine non-technical, manual, and moderate technical work, helping keep patient specimens processed efficiently and lab areas clean. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and California phlebotomy licenses (I or II) upon hire, with preferred experience in a hospital setting.
Per Diem; 10‑hour, Variable shifts at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and the Director of Laboratory Services, the Clinical Lab Assistant I performs routine non‑technical, manual, and moderate technical work, maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition, and carries out related tasks as required.
