Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Care Associate to provide nursing support and personal care to patients in a high-quality hospital setting. You will assist with activities of daily living and help maintain patient charts and documentation within the electronic medical record.

The role requires certified nursing or medical assisting credentials recognized in Georgia, BLS certification, and at least one year of direct patient care experience in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Must have active credential on the Georgia Registry, or an equivalent national credential.
• Nationally recognized medical assistant certification is required (AAMA CMA or AMT RMA or NHA CCMA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience in a clinical setting.
• Color vision as applicable to specific units.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living to support comfort and safety.
• Provide nursing assistance and participate in basic patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Prepare and maintain patient charts, transcribe orders, and document in the patient care system.
