Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Clinical Care Associate to assist nursing staff, support patient comfort, and help with activities of daily living. You will work within a unit-based, multidisciplinary team, perform charting, transcribe orders, and enter data into the patient care system.

The position requires CNA or CMA/AMT/NHA credentials, BLS, and at least one year of direct patient care. Strong color vision and the ability to perform procedures safely in a busy hospital setting are

Qualifications

• Nurse assistants with required certs listed above.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
• At least 1 year of direct patient care experience in CNA, PCT, or related acute care.
• Color vision acuity may be required for specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assistance and direct patient care for comfort, safety and personal needs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Perform procedures for physical hygiene and comfort.
• Complete general clerical and reception duties as needed by the unit.
• Prepare and maintain patient charts, transcribe physician orders, and enter data into the patient care system.
