Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a Clinical Care Associate to provide nursing assistance and direct patient care for comfort, safety, and personal needs. You will help patients with activities of daily living and perform hygiene procedures.

Join a unit-based, self-directed, multidisciplinary team and share tasks with licensed and non-licensed colleagues. You will prepare patient charts, transcribe physician orders, and enter data into the patient care system.

Qualifications

• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One (1) year of patient care experience in CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or similar.
• Visual color acuity required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assistance and patient care for comfort, safety and personal needs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and hygiene procedures.
• Work within a unit-based, self-directed, multidisciplinary care team and share tasks with licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Prepare and maintain patient charts, transcribe physician orders, and enter information into the computerized patient care system.
