Job summary

Jefferson Blount St Clair Mental Health Authority seeks a Team Leader for night shifts to oversee a mobile crisis response team serving children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance. The role focuses on on-site crisis intervention, de-escalation, and coordination with DHR, police, and schools.

You will supervise team members and ensure rapid linkage to local supports. Responsibilities include assessing needs, documenting in the EMR, and providing follow-up information in staff

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling with a clinical focus.
• Crisis-intervention experience preferred; licensure preferred.
• Two years’ experience with emotionally disturbed children/adolescents is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond on-site to crises with a team member to de-escalate situations.
• Provide crisis intervention and support services for children/adolescents.
• Assess mental health needs and identify resources and supports.
• Link clients to services within 24 hours across agency and community.
• Document case progress in the EMR within 24 hours of intervention.
• Provide case updates during weekly staff meetings with the MCT Coordinator.
• Coordinate outreach with DHR, EMS, police, schools, and community agencies.
• Provide transportation to families when appropriate.
• Maintain data records as required by the agency and DMH.
