Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a dedicated palletizing operator for the night shift. You will supervise palletizer activities, perform maintenance tasks, and ensure packaging quality while adhering to safety SOPs.

You will contribute to a clean, efficient production line and actively participate in team meetings. The role requires physical strength, dexterity, and the ability to work an 8-hour shift with possible overtime on the 3rd shift (10:45 pm – 7:00 am).

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality and organization.
• Ability to lift to fifty pounds occasionally and stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance.
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills required.
• Ability to work an eight hour shift with frequent overtime; 3rd shift schedule (10:45 pm to 7:00 am).

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety rules, LOTO, and required PPE at all times.
• Follow SOPs applying to this work and general plant SOPs.
• Ensure quality SOP requirements are followed and visual inspection is documented.
• Record downtime and spoilage at Palletizer as required.
• Handle palletizing operations including palletizer, banding, inspection, labeling, and shrink wrap.
• Operate and maintain Palletizer/Packaging equipment and perform repairs.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area with good housekeeping.
• Communicate with shift supervisor about lines down or underperforming.
• Participate in team meetings as required.
• Sort according to instruction.
