Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run cheese-processing equipment in our Mount Vernon facility. You'll follow GMPs, perform quality checks, and work 8-hour shifts with a $2 night differential.

The role emphasizes safety, attendance, and teamwork as production meets customer requirements. Overtime may be available; strong reading/writing in English and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Basic math, counting, calculator and basic computer skills.
• Forklift driving skills may be necessary.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a cheese-processing machine.
• Monitor equipment and perform quality checks to meet customer requirements.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and safety guidelines.
• Be flexible for overtime and maintain production schedules.
