Good Samaritan in Elk Horn, IA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide resident care in a Christian environment. The role includes administering meds, implementing care plans, and coordinating with physicians and families on a night-shift schedule.

The position is full-time with 12-hour night shifts at Salem Lutheran Homes & Rehab. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in Iowa.

Competenze

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills and medication effects.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Mansioni

• Provides care to residents in a safe, compassionate manner per care plans.
• Assesses residents on admission and ongoing; documents in EMR.
• Manages medications, treatments and procedures within defined timeframes.
• Monitors infection control, wound care, nutrition and incontinence.
• Communicates with physicians, family and care team; completes required reports.
• Participates in quality improvement and may complete portions of the MDS.
