Job summary

AdventHealth Apopka seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and anesthesia. You will develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other providers.

The role emphasizes supervision of nursing assistants, education for patients and families, and quick response to emergencies to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess RN license and be current with nursing credentials.
• Strong abstract reasoning to assess patients and adapt plans.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate care across units.
• Proficient English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and anesthesia.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Monitor progress, document changes, and adjust plans as needed.
• Supervise nursing assistants and support staff on the unit.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and stabilize patients.
