AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care across PACU and inpatient units. You will develop care plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other providers to ensure comprehensive care.

This role requires strong clinical nursing knowledge, leadership and communication skills, and the ability to guide and supervise nursing staff while maintaining quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes.
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows based programs.
• Supervision experience and skills required.
• Maintains current license and knowledge of nursing care requirements for all patients on the unit.
• Communicates effectively with staff, patients, and families in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across departments (PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, anesthesia).
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and orders.
• Monitor progress, document changes, and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
