Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team for an 8-week shift. This role supports the inter-operative phase, assists with instrument handling, draping, positioning, and maintains sterile technique throughout the case.

The candidate must have completed an accredited surgical technologist program or military training, with knowledge of infection prevention and sterilization standards, and hold a BLS credential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team to ensure an organized operating room.
• Prepare operative site and instruments for procedures.
• Maintain instrument tables and tray integrity to avoid delays.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and scrub in appropriately.
• Perform counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments per policy.
• Ensure proper cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of instruments.
