Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of a surgical technologist program, 1 year of surgical experience, and certification as a Surgical Technologist with BLS.

Competenze

• High School diploma and completion of an approved surgical technologist course.
• At least 1 year of surgical experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologist and BLS certification required.

Mansioni

• Scrub patient during procedures and handle instruments and supplies.
• Set up sterile table and ensure proper equipment readiness.
• Perform instrument counts with the circulator before incision and before closing.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Assist in prepping room for next patients and terminal cleaning of rooms.
