Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification and Ohio registration.
• Experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Aptitude with math (ratios, proportions, decimals).
• Desire to advance knowledge toward advanced technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Establish a working identity with the Pharmacy Team and contribute to a collaborative culture.
• Prepare sterile products (including chemotherapy) using aseptic technique and regulatory standards.
• Prepare non-sterile products (including hazardous medications) per standards.
• Repackage bulk oral medications with Parata systems and robots.
• Facilitate medication dispensing via Automated Dispensing Cabinets on patient care units.
• Assist in dispensing orders through the pharmacy inventory system.
• Support inventory control by processing daily orders, stock rotation, and expiration dating.
• Assist with proper billing of patients and other units.
