Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician certification and Ohio State Board registration.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience desirable.
• Strong communication skills.
• Aptitude in mathematical manipulations (ratios, proportions, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions).

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in assuring timely and accurate provision of medications to patients.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile products in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Repackaging of bulk oral medication using automated systems and robots.
• Facilitate medication dispensing via automated cabinets on patient care units.
• Assist with inventory control, billing, and ordering.
