Job summary

Pyrotek is seeking a Production Associate to support multiple ceramic fiber processing steps on the third shift. You will safely perform production tasks, interpret work orders, set up jobs, and verify quality with precision measurements such as calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities include data recording, clocking in/out via terminals, and basic preventive maintenance. The role requires a GED or high school diploma and some manufacturing experience. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, plus 1 year of manufacturing/machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and work orders.
• Capability to use measurement tools and basic math for quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently perform production activities, including vacuum forming, mixing, assembling, inspecting and packaging.
• Read and interpret work orders and specifications to fabricate vacuum formed ceramic fiber shapes.
• Safely and accurately set up jobs based on work orders and drawings.
• Take precise measurements to assess product quality using tape, calipers and micrometers.
• Record data for inspection, material usage, and quantities to ensure accurate transactions.
• Clock in/out of jobs via computer terminals on the shop floor.
• Notify supervision of issues, barriers, or machine malfunctions affecting output.
• Perform basic Preventative Maintenance tasks as directed.
