Job summary

Pyrotek is seeking a Production Associate for the third shift (9:30 PM – 6:00 AM) to perform basic production tasks processing ceramic material into finished and semi-finished products. Responsibilities include operating equipment, inspecting products, and packaging to meet quality and output targets.

The role requires reading work orders, setting up jobs, measuring components with calipers and micrometers, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED, plus 1 year manufacturing/machine operation experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret basic drawings/work orders and apply mechanical skills with required materials, tools, and equipment.
Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently perform production activities including vacuum forming, assembling, inspecting, and packaging.
Read and interpret work orders and specifications to fabricate ceramic fiber insulating shapes.
Set up jobs based on work orders and drawings.
Take precise measurements to ensure product quality using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
Record data for inspection, material usage, and inventory transactions.
Report machine issues promptly to supervision.
