Job summary

Pyrotek, Inc. is hiring a Production Associate for the third shift (9:30 PM – 6:00 AM) in Salisbury, NC.

The role involves performing a variety of manufacturing tasks to process ceramic material into finished products, including mixing, assembling, inspecting, and operating equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience, with forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing/machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently perform production activities, including vacuum forming operations, mixing and decanting, assembling, inspecting and packaging, and hot press and CNC operations.
• Read and interpret work orders and specifications to fabricate vacuum formed ceramic fiber insulating shapes.
• Safely and accurately setup jobs based on work order instructions and drawings/job prints.
• Take precise measurements using tape measure, calipers, micrometers, and other instruments to assess product quality.
• Record data for inspection, raw material usage, and quantities for inventory accuracy.
• Clock in/out on computer terminals to ensure accurate reporting.
• Notify supervision of issues or equipment malfunctions that affect output.
• Perform basic Preventative Maintenance tasks as directed.
