Job summary

Providence Swedish in Seattle is seeking a Central Services Technician for the night shift to support sterile processing and operative case preparation. You will decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize instrumentation, assemble and deliver case carts, and replenish supplies as needed.

Required are formal Central Services training and at least 3 years of hospital Sterile Processing experience; favorable certifications are preferred. Join a team dedicated to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Central Services Technician course.
• Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CSRST) or HSPA certification.
• Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician.
• 3 years related experience with surgical instrumentation in hospital Sterile Processing/Central Services.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble and sterilize surgical instrumentation.
• Assemble and deliver surgical/interventional case carts and packs.
• Par and replenish soft supplies in the surgical core and CS packs storage area.
• Operate Instrument Tracking System and coordinate with Materials Coordinator.
• Prioritize tasks with Leads to support clinical operations during shift.
