Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is hiring a Central Sterile Processing Technician to prepare, package and sterilize reusable medical supplies and linens. You will collect, clean, disinfect, inspect and sterilize surgical instruments and other equipment, ensuring readiness for patient care.

Qualifications

• National certifications or training in Central Sterile/Patient Care are required.
• Completion of a Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist program or equivalent.
• 1 year of sterile processing experience preferred in hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, packages and sterilizes all reusable medical supplies and linens used by Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
• Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.
• Adheres to Providence policies and infection control standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Supports the sterile processing team to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies.

National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association

National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution

Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program
