Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice is hiring a Shuttle Driver based in Grand Rapids, MI to shuttle loaded double trailers between our distribution center and drop yards in Michigan/Indiana and back.

The night shift runs Sunday through Thursday, starts 8pm and ends around 6:00am. Eligible candidates must have a valid Class A CDL with a Doubles Endorsement. Training provided with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• 1 year of experience preferred. May consider candidates with new obtained CDL-A License.
• Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including possession of a valid CDL-A license.
• Doubles Endorsement is required.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen and Drug Clearinghouse.
• Background check free from felonies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate, timely and efficient deliveries of double trailers to and from Grand Rapids Distribution Center.
• Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Perform all work within Company safety practices.
