Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice Company seeks a Shuttle Driver in Fort Wayne, IN to handle double-trailer deliveries to Albion/Jackson drop yards and return. The night shift departs from Fort Wayne, with a start at 6:30pm and ends around 5:00am.

Eligible candidates must hold a valid CDL-A with a Doubles Endorsement and meet DOT requirements; 21+ years old with a clean driving record. Paid training is offered, plus benefits and a strong pay plan.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age required.
• 1 year of experience preferred; CDL-A candidates considered.
• Valid Class A CDL with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including a valid CDL-A.
• Clean driving record; pass DOT physical, drug screen and Clearinghouse.
• Background check free from felonies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, timely deliveries of double trailers Fort Wayne DC to Albion/Jackson drop yard and back.
• Perform daily DOT inspections of equipment.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and hours-of-service regulations.

Van Eerden Foodservice has a need for a Shuttle Driver This role shuttles loaded double trailers from our Fort Wayne Indiana Distribution center to our Albion/ Jackson Michigan drop yard, then back to Fort Wayne.

Schedule:

Night Shift that Departs from Fort Wayne Indiana. Sunday- Thursday- Start time 6:30pm, typical end time 5:00am

Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,450 and $1,650 per week working a standard 5-day schedule.

About the Job:

• Ensure safe, accurate, timely and efficient deliveries of double trailers to and from Fort Wayne Distribution Center to Albion/ Jackson drop yard.
• Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Perform all work within Company safety practices.

Requirements:

• 21+ years of age.
• 1 year of experience preferred. May consider candidates with new obtained CDL-A License.
• Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including possession of a valid CDL-A license.
• Doubles Endorsement is required.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen and Drug Clearinghouse.
• Background check free from felonies.
