Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Shuttle Driver to move double trailers to drop yards in MI/IN and back. Night shift departs Grand Rapids, 8pm to 6:00am, Sunday-Thursday.

Starting pay includes training with potential earnings of $75,000–$85,000 annually; benefits after 30 days; DOT/FMCSA compliance and a strong safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• 1 year of experience preferred; CDL-A required.
• Doubles Endorsement is required.
• Meet all DOT requirements for driving; valid CDL-A license.
• Clean driving record; pass DOT Physical, Drug Screen and Drug Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate, timely deliveries of double trailers to and from Grand Rapids Distribution Center.
• Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Adhere to company safety practices.

Van Eerden Foodservice has a need for a Shuttle Driver This role shuttles loaded double trailers from our Grand Rapids Distribution center to one of our drop yards in Michigan and or Indiana, then back to Grand Rapids.

Schedule

Night Shift that Departs from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sunday- Thursday- Start time 8pm, typical end time 6:00am

Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,450 and $1,650 per week working a standard 5-day schedule. Salary varies by route type, business conditions, and each driver's work ethic.

About the Job:

• Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including possession of a valid CDL-A license.

• Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen and Drug Clearinghouse.
• Background check free from felonies.
