Job summary

Sonoco Products Company in Jackson, TN is seeking an experienced Night Shift Forklift Driver with a TN Class A CDL and active DOT medical card. You will operate a sit-down forklift to load and move material, and support logistic operations.

The role requires safety-minded performance, ability to use RF scanners and read Excel reports, and willingness to work overtime on scheduled days off. Night shift hours are 7:00 PM–7:30 AM with a 3-on/2-off pattern.

Qualifications

• EXPERIENCED forklift driver with at least 2 years of experience.
• Must hold TN Class A CDL and active DOT medical card.
• Must be able to read Excel reports and enter data in systems.
• Experience using RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and work area prior to operations for safety.
• Maintain and perform repairs on forklift equipment as needed.
• Support logistic operations through storage, transportation, and equipment repair.
• Load approximately 20 pallets onto a 48' trailer using a forklift and drive an automatic day cab with trailer.
• Unload pallets using a hook and work with conveyors as needed.
