Job summary

Sonoco Products Company seeks an EXPERIENCED Forklift Driver for night shift in Jackson, TN. You will operate a sit-down forklift, load pallets onto trailers, and perform maintenance and safety checks.

Must hold TN Class A CDL and an active DOT medical card, with computer literacy and ability to read Excel reports. Overtime may be required on scheduled days off; compensation includes raises after 90 and 180 days, with night-shift differential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sit-down forklift and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret Excel-based reports.
• Must have TN Class A CDL and active DOT medical card.
• Previous computer experience and use of multiple systems required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and work area for safety prior to operations.
• Operate sit-down forklift to load/move material and pallets.
• Maintain and repair forklift equipment as needed and log maintenance.
• Support logistics: storage, transportation, and equipment repair.
• Load ~20 pallets onto 48' trailer and unload manually as required.
