Job summary

KIK Consumer Products is hiring for a 3rd shift role (10:30 pm–6:30 am) in Salem, VA. You will manage trailer movements, inspect tractors, and maintain records while operating in a non-temperature-controlled environment. The job requires a Class A CDL, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements are a plus, and involves exposure to chemicals.

Competitive hourly rate of $26.78 and benefits are offered. Must pass health and safety, GMP regulations, and have the ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver license (clean MVR) and medical card required.
• A minimum of 5 years commercial driving experience with a current Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker or X endorsement a plus.
• Lift certification will be required.
• Must be able to lift 45lbs.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate needs of production line and service via trailer movements to dock door.
• Manage trailer movement with Yard Mule (Tractor).
• Perform tractor inspections and preventative maintenance; maintain records.
• Possibility of working around odors, high temperatures, humidity, and high noise levels.
• Interact with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.
