Job summary

PVS DX, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to transport chemicals and gases nationwide. You will handle pre/post inspections, logs, and on-time deliveries while following DOT/FMCSA regulations, with potential nights and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidate must reside in the Houston, Texas metro area.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required.
• Ability to operate a Manual Transmission Tractor required.
• Two years’ verifiable experience operating a Commercial Tractor Trailer required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy hoses, cylinders, equipment (often 50–75 lbs. or more).
• Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse and satisfactory MVR/PSP (Good Driving Record) required.
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles across state lines required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and medical exam required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Stable employment history required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, extended hours; possible overnight/out-of-town travel.
• Must have mechanical/electrical aptitude and professional appearance.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and in a team environment.
• Must use three points of access getting in/out of the tractor multiple times daily.
• Adaptable as product lines and plant needs evolve.

Responsibilities

• Safely preload and transport chemicals and/or compressed gases in cargo tank trucks and liquid bulk tankers to and from loading plants and terminal yards.
• Perform safe pre- and post-inspections, yard checks, equipment maintenance and documentation.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to support operations.
