Job summary

RDR is seeking a Tractor Driver to join the Support Services Division in a role that emphasizes safety and efficiency on 12+ hour night shifts. You will transport, load and deliver materials to customer sites, landfills, and processing facilities, while complying with all DOT and company policies.

The position requires a valid CDL A, acceptable MVR, ability to pass drug screening and physical, and at least five years of CDL experience in various trucks.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A required.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen and physical.
• 5+ years of experience operating tractor trailers, rollback, roll-off trucks, and/or other CDL vehicles.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to work long hours, including 12+ hour shifts and weekends.
• Ability to work in outdoor/industrial environments.
• Fluent reading/writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 12+ hour shifts nights.
• Operate in industrial and environmental settings with emphasis on safety, compliance and customer service.
• Transport, load, and deliver materials per regulations.
• Load/unload containers and equipment; secure loads per DOT standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report issues.
• Maintain logs and trip reports; complete required documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
• Keep vehicle clean and perform basic upkeep.
