Job summary

Howmet Aerospace's Wichita Falls, TX facility seeks a Caster/Mold Handler to operate casting units and manage mold handling. The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts (6:48 p.m. to 6:48 a.m.) with internal shift differentials and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Using computers to enter information and monitor processes.
• Ability to read and interpret Product Criteria and Activity Instructions.
• Work effectively as part of a team under supervision.
• Maintain expected quality levels and comply with EHS and site policies.

Responsibilities

• Inserts alloy charges into induction melting crucibles manually or with assistive devices.
• Operates casting unit, monitors temperature and pours into molds per procedures.
• Directs mold handling to preheat and casting areas, maintains casting logs.
• Maintains safety, quality and housekeeping; leads a team when required.
• Overtime may be required and adherence to EHS rules.
