Job summary

MCKAYCREEK is seeking a Night Shift Personal Care Assistant to provide routine daily care and services to residents per care plans. You will support meals, ADLs, and comfort, while reporting any changes to supervisors and maintaining detailed records of notes and incidents.

As part of the nursing and wellness team, you will help ensure a safe, warm environment, greet residents, and assist with transfers and personal care tasks as trained.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials; ability to write reports and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily care and services per resident assessment and care plan.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Health and Wellness Director.
• Record entries on notes, SPAs, and incident reports in detail.
• Ensure correct resident information when assisting with ADLs and meals.
• Maintain resident rooms and belongings; greet and orient residents to rooms and roommates.
• Assist with transferring, lifting, and positioning residents; transport as needed.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care tasks as trained.
• Follow policies on blood/body fluids exposure and confidential information.
