Job summary

Hebrew SeniorLife in Boston is seeking a Nursing Assistant for night shifts (32 hours per week). The role focuses on protecting, sustaining, and nurturing residents, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining a safe, home-like environment.

You will collaborate with a care team, document care in the EMR, participate in daily handoffs and care planning, and support infection control and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• MA Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Fluent English skills required—verbal and written.
• BLS/CPR Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Computer literacy required.
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must complete mandatory HSL/HRC educational requirements and programs.
• Pass nursing assistant skills test with 70% or greater.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and respond to residents' and families' needs.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
• Adhere to Safe Patient Handling practices.
• Participate in Quality Improvement programs.
• Assist residents with personal care per care plans.
• Document care in the resident's electronic medical record.
