Job summary

The Waters of Gainsboro is seeking a compassionate Resident Aide to provide high-quality care for our residents in a cheerful, safe environment. This full-time night-shift role focuses on supporting daily living activities and promoting independence and dignity.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and social activities while following facility policies and reporting changes to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
