The Waters of Gainsboro is seeking a compassionate Resident Aide to provide high-quality care and support to residents in an assisted living community.

You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and social engagement in a safe environment, under nursing supervision. This full-time night shift role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference daily.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are important.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet criteria.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Support ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Provide transfers and ambulation assistance.
• Monitor residents and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, respectful environment.
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities.

Position Summary:

The Resident Aide supports residents with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life in a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background check
