The role involves caring for adults 18+ with moderate to severe instability, requiring frequent assessment and nursing interventions during 12-hour overnight shifts.

The unit operates with 22 beds and a nurse-to-patient mix of 1:2 to 1:3 across shifts.

Qualifications

• RN must hold MN RN license and BLS.
• ADN degree required for RN licensure.
• Certification or ongoing education in critical care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for 18+ patients with varying instability.
• Perform frequent assessments and interventions during 12-hour shifts.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
