Job summary
Fairview Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Flex Team at East Bank University Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. You will provide ICU coverage across SICU, MICU, and CVICU with a 0.75 FTE schedule and 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) including every third weekend.
You will work with advanced critical care technologies and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients with complex cardiac and surgical conditions, including CABG,
Qualifications
- Minnesota Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1 year ICU experience or 18 months IMC/PCU experience or completion of Capstone within Fairview or at another facility of tertiary level ICU care
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Preferred BSN
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs and planning nursing care for an assigned patient population
- Developing and implementing nursing plans of care
- Delivering care and evaluating patient response to interventions
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team and delegating tasks as appropriate
- Promoting evidence-based practice and continuous improvement to improve patient outcomes
