Emanate Health—Covina, CA is seeking a Monitor Tech for the night shift to observe cardiac rhythms and respond to alarms. The role includes greeting staff, transcribing orders, and handling admission/discharge tasks in a fast-paced hospital unit.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of medical terminology, and a BLS certification. EKG interpretation training and unit secretarial coursework are preferred to support daily duties.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.
• EKG interpretation class required.
• Unit Secretarial course preferred.
• BLS required.

Mansioni

• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythm status and interpret alarms; inform RN of variances.
• Greet staff at nurses' station and answer questions; refer to appropriate staff.
• Transcribe medical orders and perform unit-based non-clinical duties related to admission, discharge and transfer.
• Organize activities at the nurses' station and manage medication receipt from pharmacy.
• Deliver medications to the assigned nurse.
