Emanate Health is seeking a Monitor Tech to observe and interpret cardiac rhythms, monitor alarms, and promptly inform RNs of variances requiring examination. You will also greet staff at the nurses’ station and handle order transcription and unit-based tasks related to admissions, discharges, and transfers.

The role involves non-clinical duties at the nurses’ station, including organizing activities and assisting with medication handoffs under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.
• EKG interpretation class required.

Responsabilités

• Observe and interpret patients' cardiac rhythm status and respond to alarms.
• Inform the RN of variances to initiate patient examination.
• Greet staff at the nurse's station and answer questions or refer to staff.
• Transcribe medical orders and assist with admission, discharge and transfer tasks.
• Perform unit-based non-clinical duties related to patient flow such as organizing activities at the nurses' station and handling medications with the nurse.
